Nude model…come on, let’s go through all the clichés on the subject! Do you have to have a beautiful body or is it enough to like yourself?
Definitely, you have to like yourself first. Nowadays there is a lot of talk about ‘body positive’, meaning that you can feel beautiful even with features that are different from the common scheme, but the fundamental thing is to like yourself, because insecurity is very visible in photos. And then… you need a certain amount of exhibitionism. Let’s say it!

How did you get started?
It sounds trite to say, but I started as a game in 2010! I live in a small town in Piemonte, in a fairly closed world, where doing something like this is a white fly. I kept at it and loved it, so I made a career out of it.

Did everything always run smoothly? With all photographers, was the relationship straightforward? Did incompatibility never arise?
To be honest, I have hardly ever had any problems! I have always found people capable of putting me at ease and, if we exclude a couple of negative experiences, I would say that the balance is excellent! Of course, as experience goes on, I also study each professional first, see how he shoots, what he wants from the photo. In short, in the end even in less than optimal situations you bring home the result.

Do you do fitness? Or do you have to thank Mother Nature?
I am lucky, I have a powerful metabolism! I have recently taken up sport consistently. I do aerial dance, (the kind that is performed with fabrics and comes from circus acrobats, ed). Of course, taking care of the body, face, hair is part of the job. Beautician, gym, hairdresser are a necessary investment for those who work with image.

Have got any problem with your boyfriend ? Fights, plates flying?!
Absolutely not! On the contrary, my partner met me when I was already doing this job and he is also proud of it, he loves my photos. Besides, if I had someone next to me urging me to stop or making a scene, I wouldn’t have accepted. After all, I don’t do anything that jeopardizes a relationship. In fact, I have often told him ‘if you want you can come to the set and watch’.

Has this unusual job changed you in any way?
Yes, it changed me a lot, I gained self-confidence. It is clear that there are moments or days when you look in the mirror and think ‘oh my goodness’ and others when the image you see gratifies you.

What are your dreams in the drawer?
I am in the process of opening a women’s clothing e-commerce and will soon present a collection of my own, having gone to fashion school.  I have to say that I am very happy to participate in the Art&Glamour project, because it seems to me that people’s minds are shrinking a lot with regard to certain taboos or censures, which are now evident on social media. Nudity is one of the most natural things in the world and a magazine that relaunches its artistic matrix can only see me in favour!
